Simple White Bread for Bread Machine

1 c water, warm

1 large egg, beaten

4 1/2 tsp vegetable oil

3 1/2 c all purpose flour

1/4 c sugar, use less if you don’t like a slightly sweet-tasting bread

1 1/2 tsp salt

2 1/4 tsp bread machine yeast or rapid rise yeast

Put ingredients in bread machine pan in the order listed. Set the machine for white bread, crust to your preference. Turn it on! I used he basic white setting on my machine which was 3.5 hrs. In about 3 hours you have a wonderful 2lb loaf of homemade bread.
